I have endeavoured to “hold my piece” as my Granny would say… however it has got to the point where my inner peace and who knows, maybe even world peace, is dependent on my expressing my piece…
And so, in the past 24 hours there has been a largely unreported suicide bombing in Beirut and a series of attacks in Paris which is splattered across every news source going around. It bothers me that the innocent people killed in Paris seem to be more important than the innocent people killed in Beirut… both are devastating.
What is more devastating to me is the hatred that is stirred up by such events… if people were adequately researched they would see that the significant majority of us are pawns in this game that is being played across the world – those young people who were willing to commit suicide, either by their own hand or by police gunfire are as much victims in this ugly game as the people they were killing…
I have always been interested in politics and the philosophy of democracy… becoming actively involved in domestic politics when I was about 14. This continued into my late 30’s, however my ideologies were challenged with evidence of hypocrisy and corruption within the political party I was involved with. These experiences got me questioning the effectiveness of the party political model in terms of it actually being democratic. I then shifted my focus to issues based activism – and wrote letters and signed petitions ad nauseam… I was non-aligned, however still lined up on the left of centre as it were.
Domestic politics and some areas of global politics started to drift further to the right… my values and beliefs didn’t alter too much, however I now found myself on the far left of the political landscape… apparently caring about each other, Mother Earth and a viable future for our descendants became uber radical somewhere along the track…
I had never taken much interest in either history, or what was happening in other parts of the world until 9/11 – and was intrigued by some of the symbolism, the responses and the complicit nature of the west in retaliation. I observed this from afar, and sourced some of my own information in an effort to understand what was behind such an attack. I had already formed the view that the “news” we were getting was not the whole story, and the psychic in me knew that all was not as it seemed.
It wasn’t until I went to Europe in 2013 that I really started to fill in some gaps in my understanding. I had never really heard of austerity, however seeing it first hand and learning what the EU, World Bank and the International Monetary Fund were responsible for flicked something in me that set me on a quest. While I was in Europe the Abbott Government was elected here in Australia, and it was very clear to me that this was in fact the result of corporatocracy, not democracy. Our politicians, along with the majority of politicians in the world, are merely the puppets of huge corporations who are in the business of taking over the world… you can roll your eyes here… and shake your head and mutter about conspiracy theories… it is ok… it is much easier than contemplating something different… I used to do that to people too…
In early 2014 I joined with three other people to kick off a movement to educate and empower people about politics and their democratic responsibility – if we wanted and expected good government – that is decency, integrity, accountability and transparency – then we would have to hold each and every elected politician to those standards. They are there to represent us… not their corporate sponsors and future employers. This was March in March which became March Australia… which morphed into something completely different to what I had in mind… never mind…
My re-involvement in “progressive” politics then led me to do more research…
Who was behind these corporations that clearly were running the show?
What was the geopolitical global agenda?
Who was really doing what and who was pulling whose strings?
Was there really this “New World Order” wanting to take us all over and make us into slaves and who were the players?
What was the role of the UN in all of this?
Were the Central Banks, World Bank and International Monetary Fund really just fronts for siphoning off money from the citizens to the fat pockets of the 1%?
Why was the Islamic State running amok in the Middle East, and yet Israel was not being attacked?
I have spent the last 12 months or so exploring these questions… being led from one source of information to another on the internet, reading books and articles, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries – gathering data and doing some critical analysis so as I could inform my opinion on geopolitical issues.
And so I ask you some questions…
Do you know about the Tri-Lateral Commission, what its role is and who are its previous and current members?
Do you know how the UN was set up really, and who funded it?
Did you know that the Federal Reserve that is always talked about in US politics is actually a corporation and not a government institution?
Have you heard about the Trans-Pacific Partnership and what impact it may have on you?
Do you believe that data retention is all about national security?
What about technocracy… do you know what that will mean for you and yours?
Do you believe that Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda were responsible for 9/11 or could it be possible that it was orchestrated by the CIA to serve a far bigger cause?
Do you know why George W Bush chose to attack Afghanistan in response to 9/11?
Do you know what the Bilderberg Group is, who attends and what their agenda is?
Have you heard about MKUltra and what it set out to do?
Have you looked at the influence of music and entertainment on the broader population and how this can be used to create fear, disharmony and distress within people?
Do you know why Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen and the like are at war, producing thousands of refugees, and why the US and their allies are right in it?
Do you know that what is happening in the Middle East and Africa at the moment was the same thing happening in South America a few decades back?
Do you know why the Islamic State is destroying everything in its path, particularly anything relating to history?
Are you aware how historical events have fed one into the other for millennia ensuring there was always hatred for “an other” – with that “other” changing throughout the ages?
Did you know that it is illegal in the UK and other countries in Europe to question the official account of the Second World War?
Do you know about controlled opposition and rabbit holes to divert peoples’ passions and focus?
I could go on and on and on… these are only some of the things that I learned more about in my pursuit of a better understanding of the global situation. My opinion on these things is not relevant to this particular writing… this is about my opinion that if we are going to change this world at all, a lot more people need to be finding out who the real enemy is.
To be perfectly honest it shits me that so many people are ignorant to the truth of what is going on, and can’t be fucked finding out anything about it… it is much easier to roll one’s eyes than perhaps be confronted by a truth that puts cracks into the programmed illusion of it all being hunky dory…
The ignorance of people who don’t care beyond their own self interest impacts on me, my children and my grandchildren. Their unwillingness to have their eyes opened to the truth because it is challenging and uncomfortable frustrates me no end… and so I risk being regarded as a bully, a nutter, a tin foil hatter, a conspiracy theorist or a complete raving madwoman in the hope that at least one of you may in fact open your eyes a little bit more to the truth.
The war is always, always, always between truth and lies… this one is no different…
